Clarksburg deed activity light on disclosed prices in July-August period
Clarksburg recorded 12 property transfers between July 17 and Aug. 15, but only three disclosed a sale price, ranging from $32,099 to $600,000 with a median of $402,573. The period's top sale was 1333 River Road at $600,000, sold by John J. and Rosemary Billy to the Federal Housing Commissioner. River Road and Carson Avenue each saw four recorded transfers, with Carson Avenue's tied to the Red Mills Condominium complex. Several transfers involved lenders, federal housing entities, or family members transferring property to one another, and most records did not list a sale price.
