Clarksburg October Deeds Show Few Priced Sales Amid Bank-Linked Transfers

Clarksburg's registry recorded 14 property transfers in October, but only three carried a sale price by month's end: $10,000, $50,000 and $348,000, for a median of $50,000.

Clarksburg's registry recorded 14 property transfers in October, but only three carried a sale price by month's end: $10,000, $50,000 and $348,000, for a median of $50,000. Two additional transfers were nominal-consideration family transfers, not market sales, and nine others had no price yet entered. The month's top transaction was 52 Belmar Dr. at $348,000. River Road saw three separate deed transfers, more than any other street. Seven of the 14 transfers listed a bank or credit union as buyer or seller, none of which had a price recorded, making it difficult to characterize overall market tone from the available data.
