Clarksburg sees 12 deeds recorded in late July, but few sale prices disclosed

The Northern Berkshire Registry of Deeds recorded 12 Clarksburg property transfers between July 10 and Aug. 8, but only three disclosed a sale price, ranging from $32,099 to $600,000 with a median of $402,573. The period's top disclosed sale was 1333 River Rd, which sold for $600,000 on July 28 to the Federal Housing Commissioner. River Road and Carson Avenue each accounted for four of the 12 recorded transfers, several representing multiple instruments on the same address rather than distinct sales. With price data covering just a quarter of recordings and financial institutions appearing as parties in several filings, the available data does not support a characterization of market conditions as active or quiet.
